KAPLAN & SHAW is a Blues Rock Trio based New York area. LOU KAPLAN is an original founding member of the legendary Hard Southern Rock band MAD JACK. MAD JACK released 4 albums, all private pressings and appeared with THE OUTLAWS, MARSHALL TUCKER BAND, BLACKFOOT and MOLLY HATCHET. In 1995 KAPLAN and SHAW began jamming together.
This CD is their 2nd album released in 2008, a mix of traditional and contemporary Blues covers with their own distinctive brand of original Blues.
