Jean-Luc Ponty (born September 29, 1942, Avranches, France) is a French virtuoso violinist and jazz composer. 'Live' is a live recording of a concert in California in 1978, released in 1979. It was reissued on Atlantic Records on CD in 1990 and 1992. This CD is a latest, 2003 release.
