Сорокалетие величайшего рок-фестиваля кинокомпания Warner Bros. отметила специальным выпуском своего знаменитого фильма, удостоенного "Оскара" еще в 1970 году. Отличительной особенностью коллекционного издания 2009 года, помимо режиссерской двухдисковой 224-минутной версии самой кинокартины, стала публикация на третьем диске многочисленных дополнительных материалов, главным образом музыкальных номеров, не вошедших даже в расширенный вариант. Маленьким, но весьма ценным для меломанов сюрпризом станет четвертый бонус-диск, прилагающийся исключительно для покупателей подарочного бокса на "Амазоне".
