On July 2nd and 3rd of 2016, Umphrey's McGee embarked on their first two-night headlining run of the famed Red Rocks Amphitheatre outside Denver, Colorado. The sold out shows proved to be a milestone for Team UM and cameras were rolling all weekend to capture the action, both on stage and off.
The double-feature concert film includes footage from both nights, clocking in at over five hours of Umphrey's live on the Rocks. These discs contain a pile of unreleased, behind-the-scenes footage including candid backstage hanging, pre-show warm up, and rehearsals. Additionally, in-depth interviews with the band are seamlessly weaved in and out of the film, highlighting a myriad of topics ranging from the early days of UM, band friendships, the improvisational process, songwriting, what it's like to play Red Rocks, and more.
