Группа Oasis была основана в 1991 году в Manchester братьями Noel и Liam Gallagher. На музыкантов большое влияние оказало творчество The Beatles, а в музыке Oasis угадывается влияние The Who, The Rolling Stones, Neil Young, Sex Pistols, Stone Roses, The Jam, The Smiths и The Kinks.
