New Orleans soul singer King Floyd is best remembered for his 1970 hit "Groove Me," but, as is usually the case, there is a lot more to the story, and he remains one of the best (but woefully unsung) soul singers of his era. This 24-track set collects all of his singles, both the A- and B-sides, from Chimneyville Records, plus key non-single tracks from his two albums for the label, all of which were recorded and released between 1970 and 1974.
